All animals boarded at owners’ risk.
No animals are accepted without a vaccination card and all vaccines must be given at least two weeks prior to boarding.
Please ensure that your pet has received appropriate flea and worm treatment. If this is needed whilst staying at Pine Farm please provide this – We will charge extra for any additional guests.
Please provide the microchip number for your pet.
When a booking is made we ask that you give as much notice as possible if you need to amend or cancel. There is usually a waiting list and we ask that you respect other people might want the space.
We use supermarket complete dry dog food, breeders complete cat biscuits and follow the feeding guidance on the packaging. We adjust this accordingly with each individual dog or cat based on their age, size and activity levels. Any other food has to be provided by you.
You are welcome to bring your own food, in a sealed container clearly labelled with name and instructions. We ask that you provide more food than is needed, just in case you are delayed and are unable to collect your pet.
If your pet is unable to eat any other food for any reason or has any allergies, you will have to supply a letter from your veterinarian.
Please provide an emergency contact of someone who would be able to provide us with additional food if necessary.
If we feel that you pet is being fed too much or not enough we will consult you and adjust accordingly. If you do not agree and advise us otherwise you would need to do this is writing, giving us reasons as to why and providing evidence from your vets if needed. If we still do not agree we will not board your pet.
For stays of 3 – 4 weeks, we will weigh your pet on arrival and every week thereafter. We will keep a record for you to see at any time. If we have any concerns we will contact you. We also require an emergency contact of someone who can collect your pet and look after it until your return, if need be.
If your pet requires medication, please label clearly with instructions and times to be given. We do not give medication outside hours i.e. between 8pm and 8am. We do not administer any form of injection. We will administer eye drops and ear drops as long as it doesn’t cause stress to the pet. If you feel it will be stressful for them then you should arrange other care for them in your home.
If your pet becomes ill during their stay we will first try to contact you, failing this we will call and take them to the vets. We reserve the right to take your pets to the vets without your consent for any reason, including weight gain or weight loss, at your cost.
If you do not collect your pet after one week from the collection date and no contact has been made, we will report you and rehome your pet.
Bedding and toys are optional and it is at the owners’ risk. We recommend that you don’t bring anything of value because they might get damaged or lost. We have plenty of toys and bedding here.
No rawhide is allowed.
Please be aware of your travel times and our opening times, in peak season we might not be able to accommodate your pet if you fail to collect. Please let us know if someone else will be collecting your pet, we will not let them go without your prior consent.
